Quality Checking Rules                

QC center will check the random pages. All the pages won’t be checked and if the accuracy goes below 65 %  (i.e. if more than 35% mistakes are found in the work) then the Qc centre will not be responsible for the future checking of the same. So the business associate needs to check all the pages, correct all the mistakes provided in the report as well as found by himself / herself and then submit the work.

Method Of Calculating Accuracy:-

  • Each Type of Error in the whole work of Given Pages will deduct from 100%.
  • It means that for an example if Total 10 Extra Space are found in the whole work of 250 pages plan. Then the accuracy will be calculated as : 100 – (10 X 0.2) = 100 – 2.0 = 98. Thus the accuracy will be 98%.
  • Minimum Accuracy needed is 65% which means that if we assume that there are no errors in the whole work except Extra space then maximum 175 Extra space errors will be allowed in the whole work.

 

After calculating all the errors, The total Minimum Accuracy Needed is 65%

  1. These are the Types of Error and method of deduction from the typed data:-Each Extra Space will deduct 0.2% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Extra space will be calculated as accuracy of 100 -(10X0.2)= 98%

  1. Each Space Missing will deduct 0.3% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Space Missing will be calculated as accuracy of 100 -(10X0.3)= 97%

  1. Each Extra Enter will deduct 0.5% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Extra Enter will be calculated as accuracy of 100 – (10X 0.5)= 95%

  1. Each Grammar Error will deduct 1.0% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Grammar Error will be calculated as accuracy of 100 – (10X1.0)= 90%

  1. Each Spell Error will deduct 1.5% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 Spell Error will be calculated as accuracy of 100 – ( 10X 1.5) = 85%

  1. Each word for Text Missing or Extra Text will deduct 1.5% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100%, 10 Text Missing or Extra Text will be calculated as accuracy of

100-( 10 X 1.5) = 85%

  1. Each Extra Symbol or Symbol Missing will deduct 1.75% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 Extra Symbol or Symbol Missing will be calculated as accuracy of

100 – ( 10 X 1.75) = 82.5%

  1. Each word for Line Missing or Extra Line will deduct 1.75% from 100%

Example- Out of Total accuracy of 100% , 10 word for Line Missing or Extra Line will be calculated as accuracy

of 100 – ( 10 X 1.75) = 82.5%

 

Like this your Accuracy will be calculated.

 

Procedure For generating the Accuracy report:-

  1. The QC Centre personnel will check the pages of any submission at random.
  2. Each error will qualify a deduction as set out in the above clause.
  3. Whenever the accuracy goes below the minimum accuracy required for qualifying as set out in above clause, the checking will be stopped and the Report will be automatically generated.
  4. The centre shall continue to check each pages till such time as minimum Accuracy levels are not breached.
  5. The same procedure shall be followed in case of Rework
